POSIX File System Test Suite



As part of the NTFS-3G quality assurance process, NTFS-3G has ported to Linux,extends and maintains Pawel Jakub Dawidek's POSIX file system test suite.

The test suite checks POSIX compliance and works on FreeBSD, Solaris, and Linux with UFS, ZFS, ext3, XFS and NTFS-3G with full ownership and permission support.

The list of system calls tested is: chmod, chown, link, mkdir, mkfifo, open, rename, rmdir, symlink, truncate, unlink. There are currently 1957 regression tests.

The latest stable release is pjd-fstest-20080816.tgz, released on August 16, 2008.

The latest test release is pjd-fstest-20080917-RC.tgz, released on September 17, 2008.

Stable releases are GREEN, and releases for testing are RED. Release changes are listed below.
